How To Easily Remove Your Nail Polish
Ever wondered about an easy way to remove your nail polish after it chips without having to pour and rub your nail polish remover with the cotton swab till you end up with red , swollen , irritated , dry looking and easy to break nails....? that's of course after spending a minimum of 3-4 minutes on each nail ..!! and if you are a Glitz & Glam kind of a girl like me , who loves shimmery nail polish , the process can be worse..!! Not to forget removing your nail strips , which can be a more bitter process...
You'll need :
-Vaseline /baby oil or any lotion of your choice .
-your nail polish remover .
-10 cotton swabs (small ones that fit the entire nail).
-10 rectangular aluminum foil pieces(each big enough to be wrapped on your nail).
so first , to protect your cuticle , you have to apply a tiny amount of Vaseline on them , then you're going to hold each cotton swab , apply some of the nail polish remover on it and apply it directly on the nail covering the whole of it . after that you need to grab the piece of foil ,putting it over the swab , wrapping the edges , and pressing gently , leaving them for 2-3 minutes -in case of removing a regular nail polish- and 4-5 minutes -in case you're removing nail strips or shimmery nail polish- .....
So , how does this actually work..? we all know that acetone which is the main ingredient in nail polish removers , evaporates quickly that it stays on the cotton swab for a maximum of 30 seconds , so holding it and rubbing all over your nail for longer won't do any good , consequently not doing it's job. What the foil does , is that it keeps the acetone in trapping it from evaporating , by creating a shield , so your polish remover stays and it does the required job in about 2-3 minutes ... and you can see for yourself how this wondrously work , pulling the foil along with the swab , watching what took 15 minutes to remove , being swept away easily ....Isn't that great ..!! make sure to try it... catching up later...xoxo
